Meghan Markle recycles $2K cape dress at Invictus Games opening ceremony
All eyes were on Meghan Markle on Saturday as she arrived at the Invictus Games opening ceremony, and when it came to her stunning outfit, there was a familiarity about her elegant look.
The 37-year-old Duchess of Sussex wore a navy Stella McCartney dress, a recycled outfit she previously wore for the Queen’s Birthday celebrations back in April.
Meghan teamed the AU $2106 cape dress with a matching coat from Gillian Anderson’s British label, Winser London.

The website listing for the ‘Soft Wool Swing Coat’, retailing for AU $725, has already been updated overnight to reference the Duchess wearing it.
“As worn by Meghan, Duchess of Sussex at the Invictus Games opening ceremony in Sydney,” it reads.
Meghan completed her look with a Bespoke Dior Navy Satin Clutch and Birks Cushion Cut Sapphire ($11k) and Diamond Drop Halo Earrings (, while her nude heels are believed to be by Stuart Weitzman.
Earlier in the day the Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended the opening of the new ANZAC Memorial in Sydney’s Hyde Park, and Meghan wore a stunning black dress by New Zealand designer Emilia Wickstead which retails for $2600.
Meghan completed her outfit with a Philip Treacy fascinator, Tabitha Simmons heels which retail for $1000 and a satin Givenchy clutch which retails for $2600.
Later in the day for the first event of the Invictus Games, Meghan changed into a more casual ensemble.
She wore an Invictus Games polo shirt with black jeans from Mother Denim, a white blazer from Altuzzara and the same Tabitha Simmons heels.
