Royal 'Fab Four' split households as Meghan hires Hillary Clinton's former advisor
It’s been a tumultuous few months at Kensington Palace, with four of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s most-trusted staff quitting within weeks of each other, and rumours of a reported ‘feud’ casting a shadow over the family.
However, it looks like things are about to change at the palace, as it’s been announced that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have appointed Hillary Clinton’s former campaign advisor to head up their communications team.
“Sara Latham has been appointed to head up communications for The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, reporting directly to The Queen’s Communication Secretary,” a statement released by Kensington Palace said.
“Sara joins from Freuds where she oversaw global corporate accounts with a particular emphasis on executive thought leadership and purpose-led campaigns.”
Sara was instrumental in Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign and her appointment is being heralded as a new chapter for the royal family.

Up until now, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had the same communications team as Prince William and Kate Middleton.
However, it was also announced today that the Queen has agreed to the creation of a new Household for Harry and Meghan, which will be based out of Buckingham Palace, instead of Kensington Palace.
“The Household, which will be created with the support of The Queen and The Prince of Wales, will be established in the spring,” a statement read.
“The Duke of Sussex currently has his own private office, which has been supporting The Duchess since the engagement of Their Royal Highnesses in November 2017.
“His long-planned move will ensure that permanent support arrangements for The Duke and Duchess’s work are in place as they start their family and move to their official residence at Frogmore Cottage.
“The Queen has given permission for The Duke and Duchess of Sussex to base their Household Office at Buckingham Palace.
“Their Royal Highnesses will appoint new communications staff, who will form part of the Buckingham Palace communications team and report to The Queen’s Communications Secretary, Donal McCabe. Kensington Palace will continue to support Their Royal Highnesses until that team is in place.”
Harry and William grew up in Kensington Palace, with William now living in a large apartment at the palace with wife Kate and their three kids, while Harry and Meghan have been staying in a nearby two-bedroom cottage also on the palace grounds.
