Meghan Markle hangs out with an “Office” star in first trailer for Netflix lifestyle series “With Love, Meghan”
"I've always loved taking something pretty ordinary and elevating it," the "Suits" star says in the trailer.
Meghan Markle is going full Martha Stewart mode.
Netflix unveiled the first trailer for With Love, Meghan, the new lifestyle series starring the Duchess of Sussex, on Thursday. The footage shows Markle pulling produce from her garden, chopping veggies, and preparing a variety of dishes, including a multilayer cake topped with raspberries.
"I've always loved taking something pretty ordinary and elevating it," Markle says. "Surprising people with moments that let them know I was really thinking of them."
As the Suits star cuts the first slice of the cake, an unexpected second voice offers some feedback: "This is probably one of the most glamorous moments of my life."
The voice belongs to The Office and The Mindy Project star Mindy Kaling, who counts Markle as one of her friends and previously appeared on the Duchess' podcast Archetypes to discuss motherhood in 2022.

Kaling and Prince Harry also worked together at the BetterUp summit in San Francisco in 2024. "Met my friend’s husband at a work event," Kaling jokingly wrote in an Instagram post memorializing the encounter. "Seemed pretty cool."
Elsewhere in the With Love, Meghan trailer, Markle reflects on the power of cooking and hospitality. "This is about connecting with friends. I love that we're doing this together for the first time," she says. "Making new friends, that is so good. And just learning."

Markle seems to prioritize what feels right over technical precision. "We're not in the pursuit of perfection, we're in the pursuit of joy," she says. "Love is in the details."
For example, when creating floral arrangements, Markle makes decisions based on instinct. "I see what color I gravitate to, and everything goes from there," she explains.

In the trailer, we also get a brief look at the Duchess with Harry at her side.
Markle will also get some help from renowned chefs Roy Choi and Alice Waters, among others, over the course of her eight-episode series.
With Love marks Markle's fifth project with Netflix, as her Archewell Productions company has also produced the series Harry & Meghan, Live to Lead, Heart of Invictus, and Polo over the last four years.
With Love, Meghan hits Netflix Jan. 15. Watch the full trailer above.
