Jessica Mulroney still in 'constant contact' with Meghan Markle
Meghan Markle's friend Jessica Mulroney has hit back at claims she and the duchess have ‘grown apart’, claiming the pair are actually still in “constant contact”.
Jessica has revealed Meghan “constantly Facetimes and checks up on me”, despite the fact the pair were reportedly no longer friends.
Speaking to Page Six, Jessica also hit back at public accusations that she used her relationship with Meghan as her 'superpower'.
“CTV [a Canadian network] would ask me to go on shows and talk about Meghan; I refused. I don’t call that a superpower. I call it protecting my friend,” the 40-year-old said.
Back in August, Jessica took to social media to share a photo of the Duchess of Sussex's wedding, saying it brings her “pure joy”.
Commentators thought Jessica was already attempting to quash rumours of any fallout between herself and Meghan, by sharing a photo of her son carrying Meghan's veil.
“When I feel dark and grey, I see this and it all goes away," but later updated it to, "I see this and pure joy,” she originally captioned the snap.

Meghan and Jessica’s friendship reportedly hit the rocks back in June after Jessica Mulroney's threats to sue Black influencer Sasha Exeter.
Meghan was reportedly “absolutely mortified”, with friends of the Duchess of Sussex revealing Meghan can “no longer be associated” with Jessica.
“Meghan is absolutely mortified that she's been dragged into this complete mess. She said Jessica is in no way a racist, but the way she handled the situation (with the fashion influencer) was tone-deaf and heartbreaking,” a friend told Daily Mail at the time.
Jessica was fired from ABC's Good Morning America and her reality TV show was cancelled after she threatened to sue Sasha.
Jessica took offence to a call to action Sasha made about white influencers using their platforms for good as the Black Lives Matter protests spread across the globe. And a public fight quickly ensued.
