McDonald's announces biggest ever change to McNuggets range
McDonald's is spreading the love this Valentine’s Day... with a special, limited-edition Chicken McNuggets box. But that's not the only big change coming to the menu this month.
If your love language is chicken nuggets, then your Valentine is in for a treat because Macca’s McNuggets Valentine’s Day box will be available until Wednesday, February 16.
The limited-edition box, which holds six of the famous McNuggets, features a heart-shaped tab on the top which reads: “I’m lovin’ you.”
Amanda Nakad, Marketing Director of McDonald’s Australia, said the fast-food giant is excited to share the love with their McNugget fans.
“We know how much Macca’s fans love our Chicken McNuggets, so what better way to spread the love this Valentine’s Day than with our most romantic box yet,” said Ms Nakad.
“Whether you’re dropping in for a quick bite, picking up dinner for a Galentine’s Day gathering, or using McDelivery to send treats to someone special, Macca’s has you covered this Valentine’s Day.”
The Chicken McNugget Valentine’s box is now available nationwide, including via McDelivery.
Macca’s to offer 40-piece Chicken McNuggets box from February 16
Chicken nugget fans have even more reasons to rejoice, because Macca’s has also revealed they will be offering 40-piece boxes of Chicken McNuggets from Wednesday, February 16, onward.
The 40-piece McNuggets box will cater for those “bigger sharing moments,” like family gatherings and Macca’s parties.
There will also be a new sauce added to Macca’s famous line up of condiments: the Spicy Sticky BBQ Sauce, which will be available for a limited time only.
The Spicy Sticky BBQ Sauce will lend a little kick to Macca’s famous shoestring fries, with its combination of classic sweet barbecue flavour and a blend of chilli and spices.
Meanwhile, the 40-piece box of McNuggets and Spicy Sticky BBQ Sauce will be available from Wednesday, February 16, in restaurants including via McDelivery.

Not all heroes wear capes, some wear McDonald’s uniforms – which is the case for a 15-year-old Macca’s worker who saved a customer’s life.
Recently, Sydney Raley was working her shift at a McDonald's in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, giving food to customers at the drive-thru when she noticed something was wrong with the customer she was serving.
"I noticed that she was coughing profusely and her daughter just had this look on her face like sheer terror," Sydney told local news station KARE11.

She jumped out of the window, told the customer to get out of the car and instructed the daughter to call for help.
The Heimlich manoeuvre didn't work the first few times, so she called upon another customer, who was waiting for his food, to come and help, Sydney told KARE11.
The other customer was able to dislodge the chicken nugget stuck in the woman's throat.
"It could’ve ended a lot worse but I am super thankful for that bystander who helped so much," she said.
"Because I am decent at first aid, but if it weren’t for him and our efforts together, it could’ve ended so much worse."
