The McDonald’s Breakfast Hack That Fans Jokingly Say ‘Might Be Illegal’
Earlier this year, the news broke that Krispy Kreme and McDonald's are partnering to bring Krispy Kreme doughnuts to participating McDonald's locations nationwide. That partnership officially began this fall with Krispy Kreme doughnuts popping up at McDonald's locations in the Chicago area. Krispy Kreme expects to have doughnuts available at more than 12,000 McDonald's locations by the end of 2026.
This partnership allows McDonald's to expand its menu—and also allows fans to get creative with their orders. And that's just what @snackolator shared with his audience. His breakfast sandwich hack looks absolutely incredible and we can't wait to try it.

"This Krispy Kreme x McDonald's partnership has unlimited potential and I just hope they embrace these menu possibilities!" Snackolator said on Instagram. To prove that, he ordered some Krispy Kreme doughnuts, split one in half and added a sausage patty.
If your McDonald's offers Krispy Kreme doughnuts, all you need to do is order some doughnuts and a sausage biscuit and replace the biscuit with a doughnut.
"The McKrispy could be a name... or maybe the Sausage McKrispy? Either way, a sausage patty on a Krispy Kreme doughnut is incredible and hopefully you'll all be able to try it!" Snackolator said.
"There is no going back, people. This is going to be a game-changer if McDonald's does this partnership right," Snackolator said.
People were excited about this possible menu item, and others offered some other ideas, like using a spicy chicken patty, instead of the sausage. The best part is that you can hack all of these ideas so you don't have to wait for your local McDonald's to roll out the Krispy Kreme collab.
"Maple glaze donut with chicken in the middle. Chicken and waffle hack," someone commented on his Instagram post. That would be an amazing hack, too!
"This is entering the danger zone," another person said. That's ok- we'll buckle up! Another went further by saying, "This might be illegal. Sodium and sugar overload lmao." That might be true, but we think it's worth trying at least once.
"McDonald’s sausage is yummy and it would go perfect in between those Krispy Kreme’s," someone else added. We agree! This is the ideal savory and sweet treat and we can see this being a huge hit for breakfast.
