Uncle Robbie is showing Cath everything The Northern Territory has to offer.

They formed a strong bond on MasterChef Australia 2023 and it seems Robbie Cooper and Cath Collins couldn’t wait to catch-up after the show finished filming.

65-year-old Robbie, who is affectionately known as Uncle Robbie, has been uploading a stream of snaps to his social media account after welcoming 54-year-old home cook Cath to the Northern Territory.

Are Cath and Robbie teaming up for a project?

While they’re obviously the best of friends, Robbie previously opened up to Yahoo Lifestyle about his plans post-show, saying that he hopes to team up with another contestant from the series, Declan Cleary.

“All my friends are asking me about doing a cookbook, so that's one of the things that I’ve been looking at,” he said.

“Having a Malaysian background and being Aboriginal and cooking Asian food, I’ve been looking at making different sauces and hopefully travelling, because I’ve got family right across Australia that I'd love to visit and do different cooking with. So there are lots of things we're looking at doing, my wife and I.”

One of his biggest goals is to film a cooking show with fellow season 15 contestant, 24-year-old carpenter Declan Cleary, who he jokingly refers to as his “new son”.

The pair lived together throughout the show and quickly became inseparable, cooking together every night and encouraging each other when they needed it.

“Him and I, we have a bond that’ll last a lifetime,” Robbie remarks. “The love we’ve got for each other is really strong and we bounce off each other which is really good.

“I just can't believe how many people in different countries are wishing that Dec and I do a cooking show, it’s amazing. He’s so much fun to work with and I think it would make a really good TV show - the old man and the young boy. It would be great!”
