'The Masked Singer's Final Elimination Introduces a Brand-New Twist

It's the penultimate episode of The Masked Singer Season 12. With one mask from each group remaining, the trio of acts (which includes a trio in an of themselves) took to the stage. Two were forced to compete in the first-ever "Masked Royale," equal parts a duet and a dual, and one just missed out on the finale

The judges had lofty praises for Strawberry Shortcake, with Ken even calling her one of the most impressive singers in the show's history. Unfortunately, the competition level was too high for her to make it to the final course of the season. She went out singing "Lose You to Love Me" by Selena Gomez, and lost the first-ever "Masked Royale" of "Counting Stars" to Buffalos.

After Strawberry Shortcake was eliminated, she was unmasked and revealed to be actress and singer AJ Michalka.
