With his velvet-smooth voice and fierce lab wear, Mad Scientist Monster has become a frontrunner this season on The Masked Singer — but who is he?!
It’s a question that has clearly alluded the show’s judges, as not a single one of them has even come close to correctly identifying the cuddly crooner. (In their defense, there’s no internet on the judges’ panel. Google would be an absolute game-changer for them.)

Fortunately, my wifi signal is strong, so I can confidently say that Mad Scientist Monster is none other than Brian Kelley, aka one half of country music duo Florida Georgia Line.
Let’s look at the clues, shall we? In his first package, MSM explained that he was on his way to becoming “the best in my field,” until he was “sidelined,” at which point he pivoted to a “new experiment.” Before deciding to focus on music full-time, Kelley played college baseball and was being scouted by the pros.
Lucky Duck also hinted at Kelley’s past life as an athlete when he told viewers, “If you’ve been listening, you’ll hear the right… pitch.” MSM’s second clue package also included a ship, which was likely a reference to Florida Georgia Line’s 2012 debut single “Cruise,” while the grandfather clock could be a nod to Kelley’s grandfather, about whom he wrote his 2022 song “American Spirit.”
Still not convinced? You’re about to be. MSM said he met his better half at a Friendsgiving dinner — and you’ll never guess where Kelley met Brittney Marie Cole, his wife of more than 10 years.
