Martha Stewart Called This Comfy Sneaker Style "Easy" to Get “On in Seconds”
I found the slip-on pair for under $100.

I love a good pair of pumps—the sexy shoes elongate the legs, deliver impeccable style, and come in classic and creative silhouettes (like Sarah Jessica Parker’s mismatched heels). But sometimes, they’re just not practical. Maybe you have to walk 12 minutes to your nearest train like me, or your feet can’t stand the angled construction. Either way, Martha Stewart officially gave us the green light to wear sneakers to the fanciest occasions.
Stewart attended the 38th Annual Footwear News Achievement Awards at Cipriani in New York City. Dubbed the “Shoe Oscars,” the event celebrates the change makers in the fashion industry—and if you can wear sneakers to that, you can wear sneakers to anything. Perhaps the homemaking genius got away with it because of her elevated Skechers kicks.
Martha Stewart Pier Lite Reflection Sneakers
The Pier Lite Reflection Sneakers hail directly from Stewart's own collaboration with the brand, boasting a raised wedge, mesh knit upper, slip-on fit, and glitzy embellishments. They’re not only perfect for holiday parties, but they make one heck of a gift, considering hidden features—like cooling memory foam and stretchy material—offer the comfiest fit. Unfortunately, her exact color is sold out (though black and gray are still up for grabs!), but the brand offers another spot-on lookalike: the Ultra Flex 3.0 Dazzling Sneakers.

This isn’t the first time Stewart has reached for such a style, though. Earlier this year, Stewart told me why she relies on slip-on kicks, saying she can “have [them] on in seconds,” making it “easy” to quickly head outside. Granted, she was specifically talking about the Skechers Slip-Ins Ultra Flex 3.0 Sneakers with faux laces, but the truth still remains.

Make like Stewart and shop her uncomplicated tennis shoes, above, or consider other sparkling slip-on styles, below. I’m sure she’d sign off on those, too, considering they’re from the brand she wears nonstop.
