MAFS star opens up about her stalker nightmare
Many of us know her as the loveable raven-haired beauty who captured Telv Williams’ heart on Married At First Sight two years ago.
But not everyone knows that Sarah Roza’s first brush with fame was on The Amazing Race back in 2011 - after which she was involved in a brutal stalking nightmare.
The 40-year-old has now opened up to NW magazine about the ordeal, revealing that it got so bad she was forced to leave her house and never return.
Sarah said the whole thing started just after her stint on the reality show and she began receiving typed letters, flowers and chocolates from four strangers, three men and one woman.
While the men’s letters were graphic in ‘what they wanted to do to her’, the woman sent her nasty notes, with words like ‘fat pig’ and ‘heartless s**t’ emblazoned on them.
Sarah also revealed that the woman told her: “I’m going to cut you up into little pieces and eat you”.
After a frightening moment where one of the men appeared at her door during the night asking her for the time, her publicist decided to get her away from the house.
The whole thing ended after Sarah spent months holed up in a hotel to get away from the abuse.
Sarah hit headlines in 2018 after making an appearance on Channel Nine’s hit reality show, Married At First Sight.
Fans fell in love with her and Telv Williams, who had their ups and downs but seemed like one of the couples who would be in it for the long haul.
Sadly they split just weeks after the finale, with Sarah going on to freeze her eggs while she waited to meet the man of her dreams.
