Yahoo Lifestyle Mariska Hargitay Makes Bold Statement While Channeling Taylor Swift in New Photos With Her Cat Karma
Mariska Hargitay took some notes from Taylor Swift in her latest high-fashion photoshoot, stealing hearts as she played around with her cat, Karma, in new photos.
Hargitay was featured in Interview magazine recently and the publication created an incredible photoshoot that had fans entranced. Along with the previously shared images of the actress strutting her stuff in New York City, the Law & Order: SVU star shared more snaps from the shoot of herself and Karma having a great time.
The 60-year-old posted the photos on Instagram, adding a caption of Swift's lyrics from her song "Karma," which is what inspired the cat's name, saying, "Me and Karma vibe like that. @interviewmag 🐱."
In the pictures, Hargitay wore black tights, a white top with a floral pattern on it, and a thick white headband. To complete the look, she had on light blue eyeshadow, bright nail polish and a voluminous pouf hairstyle. Meanwhile, Karma was caught in action as they battled with a piece of fabric.
"I'M IN LOVEEEEEEE," wrote one fan in reaction to the new photos, while more felt similarly, saying, "OMG, my heart just stopped," and "Slay queen! 😍."
"Karma and her mom are both super models 😻," declared another, while someone else added, "this is the MOMENT…, and its [sic] SERVING."
Many also spotlighted the retro styling, with one fan comparing Hargitay to her mother, the late Jayne Mansfield, who was an actress and style icon during the '50s and '60s: "old time hollywood Jayne Mansfield. Making your mama proud. LOVE IT ❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥."

Alongside the photoshoot, Hargitay had a conversation with Selena Gomez talking about her career and her impact, especially regarding Law & Order: SVU. The show will be back with Season 26 on Oct. 3, with Hargitay returning as Captain Olivia Benson.
