Netflix Set To Launch In Australia

If you've been wondering why everyone is raving about House of Cards or Orange Is The New Black, now’s your chance to find out.

Following intense media speculation, TV streaming service Netflix has just announced plans to launch into the Australian market.

From March next year, Australian subscribers will have access to a range of original series aired on Netflix, as well as past seasons of some old favourites (Dawson’s Creek and Gilmore Girls are currently available on the US network for instance).

While pricing hasn't been announced yet, the service is roughly $8 per month in America, and looks set to rise to $10 US next year.

Netflix Australia is launching with original series such as BoJack Horseman (an animated show with a similar humour to that of Family Guy) Marco Polo, and All Hail King Julien, with Bloodline and Marvels Daredevil to follow later in the year.
