Katie Holmes wants you to know she's just like you, she catches the subway you guys.

However we're not sure about you but our daily commute sadly doesn't include couture... (Never say never though, right?)

The 36-year-old actress shared a snap on Instagram of herself hitching up her Prabal Gurung ball gown to board a train.

"Heels and a train...nothing better #newyork #pennstation," she captioned the pic.

The Ray Donovan star, who lives in the Big Apple with nine-year-old daughter Suri, is no stranger to the subway, often spotted amongst the city's commuters, albeit not usually in a ball gown...

No word on where the mother-of-one was headed in her pretty red jacquard frock...
