Cindy Crawford is developing a new drama for NBC titled Icon about the cutthroat modelling world in the 80s according to Variety.

Sadly we won't see Cindy in front of the camera however, as she will be producing the series alongside Anne Heche, James Tupper and Robin Bissell who originally brought the script to her.

The show, set in the 1980s, revolves around the cutthroat world of modelling and the battle that raged between Ford Modelling Agency and Elite Model Management.

While the show is not based on a true story, there's no doubt Crawford will have plenty of inspiration to draw upon from her own experiences as one of the world's most successful - and original - supermodels.
