You Have To See Lena Dunham’s Lingerie Selfie

We’ve long been fans of Lena Dunham in the marie claire office. Almost as long as we’ve been fans of New Zealand-based lingerie label Lonely (beloved of badass celebrities like Lorde and Carey Mulligan).

Now these two loves have been combined in one Instagram snap, and we couldn’t be happier.

Dunham, 29, took to social media last night to share a picture of herself clad in the pistachio-green Bonnie lace lingerie set by Lonely. The selfie – taken in her bathroom, with slicked-back wet hair (and a roll of toilet paper just chilling out on the bathroom counter) – is refreshingly real and honest. Her 1.7 million followers think so too: it already has some 87,000 likes (not to mention more than 4,400 comments).

“Love my @lonelylingerie and I think I will wear it to dinner with some boots & a smile because we are all very lucky to be free,” Dunham captioned the picture.
