When Kate Middleton, Prince William and Prince Harry joined social media yesterday, we were a little underwhelmed. Where were the Beyonce selfies?

The trio are "posting" from the Instagram account @kensingtonroyal (or rather, their people are), and at first, there wasn't much on there to be excited about.

But today, lo and behold, we've gotten an inside look at Kate's day out at Barlby Primary School, where she officially named the Clore Art Room.

Dressed in a navy shift dress with embroidered pockets and hemline by the label Madderson, Kate carried an armful of flowers as she greeted kids at the school, who were so excited by her arrival they made her a banner...aww.

Let's hope this is just the first of many inside photos of Kate's various engagements!
