While most celebrities tend to hit the beach over the Christmas break, Kendall Jenner and some of her famous friends have chosen to vacation somewhere a little more exotic.
Along with Gigi Hadid and Selena Gomez, Jenner is spending New Year's Eve in the Middle East - Abu Dhabi, to be precise.
While the girls are used to being scantily clad for the cameras (watch Jenner's revealing video for LOVE magazine below), this time around, they're obeying the country's strict dress code at mosques by covering up with headscarves and floor-length dresses.
"Incredible place," Jenner posted on Instagram of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, along with a photo of the group, which also includes Hadid's boyfriend, Cody Simpson.
"Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. What an awesome cultural experience here in the United Arab Emirates," Cody shared on Instagram.
In 2013, Rihanna stirred controversy at the mosque when she posed outside for a photoshoot.
Staff at Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque say they asked the singer to leave the compound after her actions were considered to be at odds with the 'sanctity' of the site.
