Kim Kardashian Launches Book Of Selfies

Just take a deep breath before you say anything, okay? Kim Kardashian - aka Mrs West has curated a book of selfies. The book - entitled Selfish, of course - will be published by American company Rizzoli and released in April next year.

The hardcover, coffee-table tome, will retail for $19.99 (US) and will be 352 pages long. That's right. 352 pages of Kim Kardashian's selfies.

There's no denying that Kim K-W is one talented (and prodigious) selfie-taker. Rizzoli's website proclaims her as a "trailblazer of the 'selfie movement'... [who] has mastered the art of taking flattering and highly personal photos of oneself." (Who knew selfies were an art...?) We're just not entirely sure that being good at selfies warrants a 352-page coffee table book. Have we reached peak narcissism? How did this happen?

In other news, Kardashian has hinted that the book may contain some saucy snaps. As Us Weekly reports, the idea came from a book of sexy polaroid selfies that Kardashian gave husband Kanye West last Valentine's Day. On a recent episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, the reality starlet revealed that "[the polaroids] ended up turning out so cool we came up with this idea to do a selfie book. I'm going to make some super racy."

What with this and the million-dollar Kim Kardashian: Hollywood app maybe we need to come to terms with the fact that Kim Kardashian might just be the smartest woman in show business.
