Yahoo Lifestyle Ryan Reynolds Reveals How Friend of 25 Years Betrayed Him
When Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively welcomed daughter James, they were keen to keep all details as private as possible.
However like any proud new parents, they wanted to share their joy with their nearest and dearest, sending snaps of their baby girl to a select few family and friends.
In a new interview with GQ magazine, the 38-year-old revealed that he had caught one of his oldest friends trying to sell the photos to the paparazzi.

“A guy that I’d known for my whole life, one of my closest friends growing up, he had been shopping pictures of my baby around," the Deadpool actor revealed.
"I kind of got in front of it, which is good. But it was a slightly dark period. A bad couple of weeks,” he added, telling of the confrontation he had with the ex-pal, who he has since cut all ties with.
"I mean, I don’t think he thought he would ever be caught. But it’s a pretty narrow group of people that I would send photos like that to. They’re just, like, my closest family and my closest friends: ‘Here’s us in the delivery room!’.”

However these days Ryan is more interested being a doting dad to baby James, admitting parenthood was everyhting he and wife, Blake Lively had hoped, and more.
“I’ve learned that an inordinate amount of clichés are completely true,” he says. “Like, there is this kid here that I would walk through fire for. Or maybe not fire. Like, a very hot pavement, I’d walk through. A shag rug.”
"I like being a father. I like having a daughter. I would like to have more kids. You know, it seems to suit me pretty well."
