During his revealing, tell-all interview with Diane Sawyer last month, Bruce Jenner promised that when he was ready he would share in greater detail the story of his transition to womanhood.
That moment, it would seem, is now. Next week, a special Keeping Up With The Kardashians two-part special called ‘About Bruce’ will air, documenting Jenner’s road to honesty and change. In the special, all of his children and stepchildren with ex-wife Kris Jenner will appear, as will Kris herself, speaking on camera for the first time about Jenner and his transition to womanhood.
The first promo for the special has been released, and although it doesn’t give much of the content of ‘About Bruce’ away, it might bring a tear to your eyes.
Set to a montage of home videos (Kris and Bruce on their wedding day, Kim dancing in her school uniform, Kendall and Bruce at a funfair, Kylie jumping on the bed), the promo features short snippets of audio about Bruce from his children and his ex-wife.
“I don’t think I’ve ever been as scared in my life as I was to be extraordinarily honest with my kids,” Jenner says as the promo ends.
But the most tear-jerking moment of the trailer? When Kendall, choking back tears, speaks to her father. “I don’t like when people say, ‘Bruce is gonna be gone,’” Kendall says.
“I’m not going anywhere,” Bruce replies.
