Tina Fey Strips Off For David Letterman

Tina Fey had quite the parting gift for David Letterman over the weekend.

The comedian donned a sleek electric blue dress for her final appearance on his iconic show, which she later shed to reveal her spanx in protest of the expectation that women have to dress up to appear on a talk show.

"I'm never going to wear a fancy dress on a talk show again," she said. "It's very hard work, I don't know if you're aware of the contraptions, under here it's almost medical. And I'm terrible in heels."

To Letterman's surprise, Fey then began undoing the straps of her dress.

"I dress up like this out of respect for you. What, am I going to put on a dress for Jimmy [Fallon]? That's creepy. He's like my brother. What, I'm going to wear special underwear for James Corden?

"Because this is my last time wearing a fancy dress on a talk show and conforming to gender norms out of respect for you. My gift to you is I want to give you the dress."

She then stripped down on live TV to show off her spanx shorts and nude bra with a black leotard emblazoned with the words "Bye Dave" on the stomach and "#LastDressEver" on the butt.

In true Fey form, the comedian shook her booty for the camera, with one final sentence to the world:

"Never again....Hi America!"
