Yahoo Lifestyle Blake Lively Talks About Her Parenting Inspiration

Blake Lively has revealed her ultimate parenting inspiration: her mother. Speaking about her most-treasured childhood memory to Oprah’s O Magazine, Lively, 27, praised her mother’s imagination when it came to parenting.
“My mom liked to infuse my life with a lot of magic,” Lively said. “When she read my fortune cookies, the predictions were full of princesses and castles and pirates. When I got old enough to read them, I was shocked to find out how boring they really were.”
The actress and lifestyle guru behind website Preserve also spoke about her love of craft and her incessant pursuit of the ultimate hobby.
“Creating something I can use,” is stress relief for Lively, who loves to “knit or cook,” when stressed. “One of my latest projects was painting nature-inspired throw pillows.”
The actress has also recently picked up a new hobby, and it involves getting her hands dirty. One of her favourite things to do is “work on a motorcycle, a skill my husband is teaching me.”
Of course Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively have cute date nights together working on restoring motorcycles.
