Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom have reportedly decided to separate according to E! Online.
A rep for Bloom exclusively confirmed the breakup saying, "In a joint statement, Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr have announced that they have been amicably separated for the past few months. After six years together, they have recently decided to formalize their separation."
The statement continued, "Despite this being the end of their marriage, they love, support and respect each other as both parents of their son and as family."
Kerr scaled back a number of her commitments this year in an effort to spend more time with her family, telling marie claire Australia in February, "I really feel that if you do the best you can everyday, then that’s all you can do. There are decisions that you make for yourself and for your family that no-one else should have a say in. I feel like as women we put too much pressure on ourselves to try and be everything to everyone."
Kerr and Orlando married in July 2010 after dating for three years, and welcomed their son Flynn in January 2011.
