Nada Al-Ahdal, 11, makes a brave plea to end arranged marriage, saying, “I am not an item for sale... I'm a human being and I would rather die than marry at this age.”

In the video, Al-Adhal says she ran away from home after her parents threatened to kill her if she refused to go through with the marriage they had planned for her. She took refuge with her uncle and aunt, but speaks against the practice on behalf of all children, saying that, “It is not normal for innocent children.”
