Overnight, it was rumoured that former Victoria's Secret model Miranda Kerr would be returning to the runway in an exclusive $3.8 million deal with the lingerie giant.

Initially reported by The Fix, the website stated that Kerr was also designing a capsule collection for Victoria's Secret, with a portion of the proceeds going to one of her charities.

"(She is also) the surprise Angel to take the runway when the show returns to NYC," an insider reportedly said.

But today, Victoria's Secret was quick to deny the reports, with a spokesperson telling E! News that the rumours were unfounded.

"The recent reports regarding Victoria's Secret and Miranda Kerr signing a new contract are completely untrue, and we have no idea how they got reported," said the spokesperson.

"Victoria's Secret appreciates all that Miranda has done with the brand, and all the amazing things she continues to do with her own projects, but there are no plans, on the part of either party, to renew."

There you have it folks! Don't expect to see Kerr donning her wings again anytime soon.
