MBFWA 2015 Day 2 Highlights

Most talked about show: Tome. The designer landed himself a major coup by collaborating with Sarah Jessica Parker this year, and his design genius showed through again with his spring/summer collection.

Quote of the day: “Fashion week is really the place to develop a complex isn’t it? Suddenly I feel like that midget from Game of Thrones.”

Most controversial moment: Naked PETA protestors gathered outside CarriageWorks to protest the use of fur in fashion. While we hear pizzas were involved, all fashionistas escaped unharmed.

Famous front row faces: The Stenmark twins had the ladies sitting up a little straighter in their seats, while Gemma Ward made an appearance at Tome and Jesinta Campbell sat front row at Bec & Bridge.

What everyone was wearing: There was a sea of black at Fashion Week today, which has undoubtedly set the tone for the rest of the week. Stripes were also a big choice, with many of our favourite fashion bloggers opting for the refined print.
