Versace Won The Red Carpet This Awards Season

Now we know what happens to the rejected Oscar dresses, the question remains: which designer had the biggest impact on the red carpet this season? (Not that it's a competition, but it's totally a competition).

This year, Versace was the clear winner, with a total of 12 dresses venturing onto the frames of A-list celebrities.

Of note was Kate Hudson's white safety pin dress, which drew comparisons to Liz Hurley's dress from 2000, and Jessica Chastain's metallic creation at the Globes, which signified sexier territory for the actress.

Six Versace dresses made an appearance at the Golden Globes alone, making it one big, expensive venture for the brand.
