Kendall Jenner is no stranger to internet criticism. She’s had to deal with years of the strange world of anonymous online comments as part of the Kardashian clan. More recently, since turning her hand to high fashion modeling, she has raised the ire of her colleagues, including one who penned an open letter to Jenner comparing her to Veruca Salt from Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory with her “sleazy fame rights”.

How does Jenner hit back? By making a Burn Book, of course. It’s all an elaborate parody orchestrated by a London fashion magazine, but it’s nice to think that Jenner is not only a big Mean Girls fan but also has a sense of humour.

In the short video, Jenner reads out real online comments made about her (“Kendall Jenner is a brat”, “Kendall Jenner will never be a real model”, “Kendall Jenner is so ugly”) before scribbling them into her Burn Book. The comments are interspersed with actual lines from Mean Girls (we defy you not to laugh when Jenner reads out “Kendall Jenner does car commercials in Japan).
