Yahoo Lifestyle H&M Store Opening In Sydney
Sydney-siders, get excited: you're about to get your first H&M store, with the brand announcing plans to set up its second shop down under later this year.
While details so far are scarce, we can report that the new Sydney store will open on Thursday, October 16 - but it won't be joining the slew of brands opening up shop in Sydney's CBD.
Instead, the city's first flagship will open in the newly revamped Macquarie Centre in North Ryde.
Victoria's Secret, Uniqlo and Zara are also reportedly in negotiations to open up shop in the centre.
The Sydney H&M store joins its Melbourne counterpart, which is one of the brand's largest globally.
"We look forward to bringing fashion and quality at the best price to the Australian customers," said Hans Andersson, Country Manager for H&M Australia at the store's opening in April.
