In a week Australia went betting and lotto mad, 91-year-old Lena Eaton from Indiana in the US won the Hoosier Lottery not once, but twice in the past two months!

The lucky great-grandmother won $300,000 playing Quick Draw in August, and followed that up with a $99,999 scratchy win this week. In doing so, the Indianapolis resident overcame formidable odds: the Indianapolis Star calculated her odds of winning both at one in 5.7 trillion!

So what does she plan to do with her winnings? After the first win, Eaton told lottery officials she planned to do some home renovations. But her second big payday will allow her to indulge her love of travel and to help her family, which includes more than 20 great-grandchildren.
