Makeup essentials to nail TikTok's 'siren eyes' look

Everyone loves a makeup hack, especially when it comes to eyes.

How many of us have been defeated by a winged eyeliner? The rage is real.

So when a professional makeup artist whose brand is a favourite of the royals offers us some fail-safe tips, we're going to listen.

Charlotte Knight, founder of Ciaté London has generously given us normal folk the chance to achieve the ultimate sultry 'Siren Eyes' look on TikTok, which has over 560 million views and counting.

"It feels like after so long of not wearing full make-up, we’re bringing the drama back!" Charlotte says.

"Siren Eyes is a more dramatic, edgier take on the classic cat eye flick.

"By lining right in the inner corner and taking it all the way to a dramatic flick on the outer lid you’re opening up the eyes and creating a super sultry, bold evening look."

Before starting, Charlotte recommends using a super fine liquid liner that is buildable to maximise results and minimise eyeliner rage.

Let's get started!

Step One: Anastasia Beverly Hills Nouveau Palette

Take a light brown eyeshadow and place on the lower part of the lid with a fluffy brush.

Be sure to blend outwards.

Step Two: Ere Perez Chamomile Eye Colour Single in Pretty Gaby

Using a smaller brush, go in with darker brown and tap it as close to the water line as possible, be sure to bring the colour out and create a triangle like shape.

Pro tip: Always blend up.

Step Three: Ciate London Fierce Flicks Eyeliner

Carefully line the water line with a dark black eyeliner, be sure to do top and bottom and wing it out to form a triangle.

Step Four: Ere Perez Jojoba Eye Pencil in Bronze

Smudge out the waterline you have created and take a brown liner for the inner corner of your eyes.

Finish with a generous dose of mascara.
