Married At First Sight star Telv Williams claims many cast members from his 2018 season were actors.

Taking to Instagram on Thursday, the reality star commented underneath a post fellow MAFS personality Nasser Sultan had shared after season five contestants had been blocked from the show’s Instagram page.

“Doesn’t surprise me at all nor does it worry me. I wonder how many paid actors they’ve hired this year,” wrote Telv.

“I know most were actors in our season. I can’t believe it hasn’t come out yet.”

Channel Nine declined to comment when contacted by Yahoo Lifestyle.

Last year’s season of Married At First Sight featured a series of strong personalities, sparking speculation by some fans that some of the stars were actors.

Troy Delmege was one of those, with his unusual antics including his bizarre teeth brushing technique, leading fans to believe the love hopeful was actually “fake”.

Troy has to be an actor playing a role, he cannot be like this in real life. If he is like this normally then it’s a terrible piece of matchmaking by the “experts”. #MAFSAU #MAFS,” wrote one fan.

Give Troy the Logie already for best actor in a reality tv show. #mafs,” penned another.
