MAFS star unrecognisable in pre-surgery throwback snap as she reveals nose job regret
MAFS star Martha Kalifatidis may have expertly turned her Married at First Sight fame into a thriving gig as a respected influencer, but it seems the star would change a few of her beauty decision if she had her time again.
The 32-year-old opened up to fans in her Instagram stories on Tuesday, answering a flurry of very personal questions with remarkable candour.
In perhaps the most surprising response she revealed the cosmetic procedure she undertook almost a decade ago that given her time over, she says she would pass on, and it’s no small snip she would undo.
Martha told fans she wishes she hadn’t had a nose job when she was 22-years-old, saying she has learnt that uniqueness trumps fitting the mould when it comes to looks.
“I don't have any regrets but if I knew then what I knew now, I probably wouldn't get my nose done,” she admitted.
“I feel like my old nose had an ethnic vibe and it was unique and now I just look like everyone else.”
Martha reveals ‘dramatic’ transformation
She then shared a string of snaps of her face before the surgery to her stories, demonstrating the dramatic transformation she underwent at the age of 22.
The star has spoken openly about the various procedures she’s had done, and though her nose is perhaps the most noticeable of the nips and tucks, she insists it the only one she would reverse.
Earlier she revealed to NW magazine she has had her breasts done, as well as using fillers in her face and lips.
The former makeup artist made headlines this week when she clapped back at some nasty comments she received about her weight with a raw nude snap on Instagram.
The pint-sized TV star bared all in the unusually no-frills photo, posing in just a high-waisted pair of white briefs in the mirror selfie snapped on her bed.
With wet hair, no makeup and no shirt, Martha got candid about the negative effects the nasty comment had had on her.
“Two weeks ago some lady commented “chubby” on one of my posts... I normally shrug the trolls off but this one got to me,” she admitted in the photo’s caption.
“It turned into two weeks of stress, self-hatred and unhappiness.”
“So here’s a ‘F**k You’ to that comment,” she continued.
“A photo of me today, unfiltered, unedited and a few kilo’s heavier. Knowing that a few long walks and a few salads will get me back on track.”
