MAFS' Martha reveals the real reason behind her naked tub snap
She shocked fans by sharing a completely naked bathtub photo of herself to her Instagram page on Sunday night and now Married At First Sight star Martha Kalifatidis has revealed the real reason behind the now viral image.
It turns out the risqué snap was all part of a launch campaign for Australian skincare brand Sand & Sky’s Tasmanian Spring Water range, set to his shelves on August 25th.
Taking to her Instagram account on Sunday, Martha wrote: “Bath water as pure as my soul... flown in from Tasmania”, however today, the 32-year-old former makeup artist set the record straight.
“I do not bathe in Tasmanian water, I wish… but I have been using Tasmanian water in my skincare… Sand & Sky are launching two new products, they both contain Tasmanian water,” she said.
According to Martha,”if you’re looking for your new everyday moisturiser, this is the one”.
It seems the former MAFS star might not be alone with her love of the brand, as it’s become so sought-after that the Splash Serum and Hydration Boost Cream from the new range have a waitlist of 15,000 and 10,000 people on each.
Sand & Sky’s Tasmanian Spring Water is sourced from Mole Creek Karst National Park and promises unique skin strengthening properties.
The lightweight serum ($89.90) is water-based and promises to reinforce the skin barrier and boost hydration mechanisms, while the cream ($79.90) is a gel formula and contains fermented Sea Kelp, Tasmanian spring water and red algae extract to boost hydration.

On Sunday, Martha caused a stir online when she uploaded a snap, showing the camera positioned from above the bath, while she strategically placed her legs across each other and protected her modesty with her hand in the raunchy snap.
Fans were taken off guard by the photo, with many posting fire emojis and others calling the former reality star “perfection”.
“It’s Sunday night and I was not ready for this,” one person said.
“Girl, you’re killing me,” fellow MAFS star Aleks Markovic wrote.
“This is Amazing, you’re so creative babe.. I love it,” Bachelor In Paradise’s Keira Maguire commented.
Sexologist Chantelle Otten said: “What the world needed right now “ while Martha’s boyfriend MAFS’ Michael Brunelli said: “Perfection”.
Martha’s photo came just hours after she uploaded a snap of herself in a tiny crop top, much to the excitement of her followers.
The 32-year-old turned a printed scarf into a tiny crop top, showing off a little underboob in the process.
She captioned the snap, "Pro tip - pack light," in reference to using the Pretty Little Thing scarf as a top.
Elle Ferguson quickly commented, "WOW," while another added, "DAYUM."
The comment section was flooded with fire emojis with one user writing, "GET OUT!!! You are the HOTTEST HUMAN."
