MAFS' Martha at centre of internet scandal

One look at Married At First Sight star Martha Kalifatidis’ Instagram account proves the selfie lover is a big fan of social media.

Now the 30-year-old has revealed she’s at the centre of an internet scandal, with someone pretending to be her online.

“PSA Someone is pretending to be me via a fake email address,” the reality star informed her followers on her Instagram stories.

“If any businesses or brands have received emails from ‘me’, it is not me and it is a scam. If you have received these emails please DM me the details for investigation.”

Martha’s most recent Instagram posts are a combination of promotional MAFS shots and glam selfies.

She’s regularly mistaken for Kim Kardashian, but says being the selfie queen’s lookalike isn’t always in her favour.

“I’m just over hearing it now, because they’re saying it like, ‘you’re a tryhard’ or ‘you’re a wannabe’ and that’s the last thing that I am,’ Martha previously told The Daily Telegraph.

“At first I thought it (being likened to a Kardashian) was a compliment, but now I feel like everyone’s saying it in a horrible way and I just think, like, OK, so anybody with dark hair and dark eyes and that wears makeup is a Kardashian?”
