- If we talk about the reunion that aired recently, we obviously didn't see you, which Charlie and I were disappointed that you weren't there. Can you explain why you weren't at the reunion?

MADELEINE MAXWELL: Yeah. By then I was like, you know, I didn't really-- I'd had multiple conversations with the higher ups around certain things that I wasn't happy with. And I feel because I've done shows before, there was just a couple of things I felt really strongly about in terms of all of the cast, in terms of, like, being a voice for all of the cast members.

And so I felt really strongly about certain things. And if they didn't want to come to the party on those things, I was going to say I'm not available. And I'm not willing to do it. And they weren't willing to come to the party. And I went, OK, cool. That's fine.

I'm a strong believer in, like, standing up for yourself when it comes to certain boundaries. And I would suggest everyone do that on "Married at First Sight," because otherwise, they'll take you for a ride. But that's why I wasn't there.

It wasn't because I hated the show. It wasn't because I hated everyone else. It wasn't because of anyone, really, especially him. I did want to show up, and I did want to kind of round it out. But under certain things, that made me feel like I was doing the right thing by myself and others in that environment.

- There was one rumor that you weren't invited at all. But you can confirm that you did receive the invitation.

MADELEINE MAXWELL: I did receive the invitation, yes. Yes. But I'm sure they were very happy to have me not there. And they were very happy to have me not there because I have a big mouth. And I am a big personality. And I have a lot to say about the process around things. So yeah.
