What happened after MAFS' Georgia and Liam's brutal dumping
Georgia Fairweather has revealed what happened after she was brutally dumped on last night’s episode of Married At First Sight by Liam Cooper.
Fans of the show were shocked when Liam, who had initially told Georgia that he loves her in his final vows, did a complete 180 after hearing her vows and decided to dump her instead.
Now, Georgia has revealed that she was left devastated after the cameras stopped rolling.
"I was totally in shock. I couldn't even form a sentence and I couldn't process what had just happened because it was quite intense the whole thing,” Georgia told 9Now.

"It took me a good five minutes before they kind of took me upstairs and then I just kind of curled up into a ball and cried because, how do you process that? I cared about him so much and we unravelled so fast. How did we get from so great three days ago to here? It was a lot to take on."
Liam also told 9Now that Georgia’s comments during her final vows ‘blindsided’ him.
"I couldn't see us trying to fix things after those Final Vows. In my head I'm like, 'Well if we can't fix this then there's nothing to be done. End it. walk away',” he said.
The whole thing started with Liam professing his love for 25-year-old Queenslander Georgia, saying that he was “choosing to stay and fight for this marriage”.
“I'm still working out how to be a husband and what a husband is meant to do, but with you by my side, I know I can figure that out,” he said.
"I'm proud to have you as my wife, and I'm proud to have you as my best friend. You are my better half, and for that Georgia, I love you."
Georgia then blasted Liam in her vows, saying he had “humiliated and degraded” he in front of everyone at the final dinner party by claiming that his family and friends wouldn’t initially accept her.
"It was clear how humiliated I was, and yet you chose to abandon me that night when I needed you the most. I never felt so small, inadequate and confused,” Georgia said.
"The next day, I was met with hostility and defensiveness. You gaslighted me, you manipulated the blame, and you tried to put your insecurities onto me. I know who I am and what I stand for, and I will not accept that behaviour, now or ever.”
Despite this, Georgia told Liam that she still wanted to give things a go and try to make their relationship work outside the experiment.
Things then took an awkward turn with Liam saying to Georgia: “Yes, I love you. But hearing those vows, you don't know me. You don't know me at all.
"I've never seen this side of you. I think it's a cop in the face that you say I've done all this to you and this whole experiment I have given you everything."
Fans of the show were quick to take to social media in support of Georgia, almost universally condemning Liam for his actions.
"Georgia you're better off out of there. Liam doesn't like hearing the truth. He's self absorbed and his vows confirm that. Glad you get to move on to find a man who is genuine and wants a capable woman," one person said.
"LIAM. What’s so hard to understand here? You ...deserved every word of that. Don’t let the door slam on the way out," another agreed.
