Former MAFS star Cheryl Maitland has announced her engagement to her partner of five years, Dean Gibbs.
Dean announced the exciting news on Instagram on Saturday morning, writing, "Pop the champagne, she’s changing her last name!"

It's clear that the proposal was a romantic one with rose petals and candles seen in the background alongside a huge bunch of roses.
