Cameron Merchant and Jules Robinson have made it official and are legally man and wife.

The couple cemented their status as Married at First Sight’s most successful love story when they walked down the aisle for a second time on Sunday, this time, in a legally binding ceremony.

Jules is said to have worn a Cinderella-style gown to marry her Prince Charming, before changing into a more figure-hugging, patterned design, for their reception at Sydney’s Alpha restaurant in the CBD.

Among their guests were co-stars Nic Jovanovic, who arrived with a guest, and Heidi Latcham, who was dressed in a white dress and acted as a bridesmaid.

White has continued to be a popular colour for bridal parties since Pippa Middleton wore it to Kate and Wills’ royal wedding back in 2011. Heidi’s gown was a strapless, column style dress, similar ones are currently on offer by Flynn Skye, ASOS, and Shona Joy for between $150 and $280 each.

While Jules and Cam’s wedding wasn’t staged for reality TV, fans will still be able to see all the details as cameras from Nine’s A Current Affair were invited in to capture the magic.

In a special episode airing Tuesday night, we’ll be able to get a glimpse of everything from the dress, to the cake and the couple’s second first dance.

According to Woman’s Day, the bride and groom had to keep all the details of their wedding top secret in the lead up to the big day to ensure their TV special would go ahead as planned, with one insider saying, “Not even Meghan Markle and Prince Harry would have this many rules for their wedding!”

It was claimed Jules went to ‘extreme’ measures to protect the deal, including making guests sign a non-disclosure agreement, and keeping the exact location of the ceremony a secret until the very last minute.

Bridesmaid saga

Unfortunately, fellow former MAFS star Melissa Lucarelli didn’t make it to the wedding after Jules axed her from her bridal party.

Taking to Instagram early on Monday morning, she said, “Yes the rumours are true. Yes Jules dumped me as a bridesmaid. No I wasn’t at the wedding event of the year”.

In a shocking development last month, Mel told NW that she was dismissed from bridesmaid duties over text after Jules had asked her to be a bridesmaid while filming MAFS.

“One day we were texting about family and babies, then two days later she was dumping me as a bridesmaid,” Mel told the publication.

“Just ‘cause I said it on a show doesn't mean I have to do it,” Jules’ message allegedly read.
