Luke Bryan’s Latest Adventure Shows ‘Difference' Between 'Athlete Versus a Country Singer’

Luke Bryan and Drew Brees hit the slopes–but in two very different ways.

Over the weekend, the country star and former NFL quarterback got together to enjoy the fresh powder in Montana, but one was much more apt for the sport than the other.

In a video Brees shared to Instagram on Saturday, Feb. 22, the "Love You, Miss You, Mean It" crooner was barely recognizable as he lay completely covered in a pile of snow, with just his helmet and skis poking out.

"Luke!" Brees, 46, calls out. "What happened?"

"Well," the award-winning singer said before needing a brief pause. "I'm in my own avalanche."

Neither offered a real explanation for what happened, though Brees added in the caption that they "were rippin thru the trees and thought we had enough momentum to get thru this!"

But as Brees panned up the mountain–while laughing, might we add–it became clear that maybe, at least, the musician overshot his assumption.

"The difference of an athlete versus a country singer," Bryan later joked in the comments. "Love it."

Since it didn't look like anyone was injured, fans slid right into poking fun at the American Idol judge and his friendship with the retired NFL star.

"A true friend!!" one Instagram user joked. "Pics first then help!!♥️♥️♥️."

"Thought that was Hank Hill for a second," another quipped.

"The friendship I didn’t know I needed in my life!!! 😍," someone else shared before another similarly suggested, "The duo I didn’t know I needed 😂."

"Dude, don't kill him! 😂," a different fan teased.

Blizzard Tecnica, the brand of gear the country artist was sporting during the trip, even poked fun at the experience, writing, "‘Least he had the right skis 👀!"

"GNARLY Dude!!!🙌," one more added, "I feel the Hot Tub coming up!!!😂😂😂."

Though neither Brees nor Bryan disclosed where they were in Montana in that particular video, fans familiar with the area were certain it was one of three popular locations: Whitefish Mountain Ski Resort, Yellowstone Club, or Big Sky Resort.

That said, Brees later made a stop at Deer Valley Resort in Utah, sharing subsequent videos skiing with his family and taking full advantage of the ideal conditions.
