London police are denying that the alleged terror plot in Austria will impact Taylor Swift’s upcoming five Eras Tour shows in the city.

The Metropolitan Police Service said in a statement obtained by PEOPLE that "there’s nothing to indicate that the matters being investigated by the Austrian authorities will have an impact on upcoming events here in London."

They say that the city hosts "a significant number of very high profile events each year with millions of visitors having a safe and enjoyable experience."

Officials add that they work closely with venue security teams and "other partners" to guarantee proper safety protocols are in place.

"As always, we will continue to keep any new information under careful review," the police say.

Swift is expected to do a five-show run in London starting on Aug. 15 at Wembley Stadium, with Paramore and a cycle of other supporting artists.
