Gold Logie 'cheating scandal' revealed

8.10pm: Hamish Blake and Andy Lee have revealed a Gold Logie 'cheating scandal' in a hilarious swipe at Today host Karl Stefanovic.

While presenting an award at the Logies, the comedic duo spoke of how the Logie votes cannot be rigged as Australians can only vote once as it's tied to your phone number.

But in a hilarious skit, Hamish and Andy called on a young boy Oliver who claimed he had been sitting in a room forced to vote repeatedly for one of the nominees.

"Oliver, who is the person who made you do this?" Hamish and Andy asked, before Oliver claimed it was Karl.

Hamish and Andy asked how many votes he was forced to send in, to which he replied "thousands".

"It's unbelievable. And irrefutable. Mostly unbelievable" the duo joked, before asking Oliver what should happen.

"They should take a few thousand votes from Karl and give them to one of the others," he said.

“Walking down the red carpet [is] pretty daunting. Even though I’ve been doing this, I don’t know how many Logies I’ve gone to, I’m gonna say 20 to 30, you never get comfortable with the red carpet. There’s so many cameras, and people calling out your name, and you want to go and talk to the fans,” she explains.

Who will win the Gold Logie?

4.30pm: Our predictions are in as to who will win the Gold Logie this year. The battle is on between Karl Stefanovic, Sonia Kruger, Hamish Blake, Melissa Leong, Tom Gleeson, Julia Morris and Ray Meagher.

Sonia says it's high time a woman won it this year and believes she deserves it. But time will tell.

Hamish Blake is strongly tipped to take out Aussie TV's highest honour and is likely to win without the help of any funny tactics, recently telling TV Tonight, "If you have to be cajoled into voting for someone's popularity, then I'm not sure they're that popular!"

SportsBet has given the comedian runaway $1.40 odds, with the next placed nominee Melissa Leong, placed at $6.

Sonia Kruger comes in next at $8.50, followed by Karl at $13.
