Live like Harry Styles with this album-inspired furniture from Kogan

Harry Styles’ third solo album, Harry’s House, is here and fans are loving it.

Penned during the pandemic, the idea of home and feeling at home is a recurring theme.

Harry describes home “in terms of a headspace or mental well-being,” rather than simply the physical four walls you reside within.

Of course there are also plenty of mentions of home comforts, domesticity, cosiness and food sprinkled throughout the 13 tracks.

The warm and lived-in space that features on the album cover is just as much a metaphor for the inside of his mind, as it is an inviting, retro-styled room we’d love to have.

If the aesthetic of the cover art is stuck in your head, along with the album’s boppy tunes, we’ve got just the thing for you.

Kogan has put together a special homewares edit to shop Harry’s style, so to say, with pieces of furniture that closely match those featured in the album cover art.

The cover features a pensive Harry standing on the ceiling of an upside-down sparsely decorated living room with a decidedly vintage feel.

The centrepiece is a terracotta-coloured tubular loveseat that looks like it’s stepped right out of the 70s.

In a slightly more contemporary take on the style, Kogan has substituted a leather three-seater on a tubular brass frame from Matt Blatt.

The $2,889 sofa has a geometric silhouette, contrasted by leather-covered plush foam cushioning for a cosy but stylish finish.

The sofa is flanked by a simple square side table and a white armchair, which Kogan has tried to replicate with two similarly understated pieces.

This gold framed square side table has plenty of retro charm, with a sprinkling of industrial chic, for $134.

Just like in the album cover, Kogan has paired it with a vintage-look table lamp, with their version featuring an-oval shaped, textured ceramic base, below a classic, pleated drum shade.

A set of two of these SOGA table lamps will set you back $390.

For the armchair, Kogan has selected this white, beech wood chair, a replica of a Hans Wegner wishbone chair.

It has a natural, woven seat and can be styled as either a dining table or occasional chair.

To finish up the room, Kogan has added a single pendant, frosted glass light fixture with a brass base, similar to the one hanging from the centre of the ceiling on the album cover.

They've added a matching gold framed arched mirror that isn’t present in Harry’s living room but whose silhouette mimics that of the arched door that leads into the room.

The only things missing are the vase of pink tulips on the floor and the wooden-framed picture that hangs on the wall beside the door.
