Lisa Wilkinson shares epic hack with before and after snap: 'It bloody well works'

Lisa Wilkinson has shared a before and after photo, along with a pretty nifty skincare hack for her followers.

The 62-year-old The Project host took to her Instagram account on her last night of work on the show before the Christmas break.

“I just wanted to give a big shout-out to all the wonderful @channel10au hair and makeup angels in Sydney & Melbourne who have once again this year had their hands full turning my “before” into an acceptable version of “after” for the cameras,” Lisa said in the caption.

“And while I know I might look a lot like Norman Gunston (check his genius out on YouTube 🤣🤣🤣) in that shot on the left, here’s a great tip taught to me by @goochihmua to get rid of skin redness (which I’ve had plenty of after a shocking cold had me in bed for most of last week) - cotton pads soaked in saline solution, left on the affected areas for 10 to 15mins. Try it. It bloody well works.”

People were quick to comment on the photos, with one person calling Lisa “beautiful”.

“Beautiful before and after. Merry Christmas honey,” Rebecca Gibney commented.

“You are so beautiful with or without makeup Lisa,” a fan of the presenter wrote.

“Love how you appreciate the hard workers..cause you’re one yourself! Loving your book!!” another wrote.

Indeed, many people mentioned Lisa’s book, with one even saying they were hoping to snap it up in the airport but it was all sold out.

Her new memoir, It Wasn’t Meant To Be Like This, certainly ruffled some feathers when it was released back in November.

Lisa delved into her time working on the Today show, being told she was fired while she was in the middle of a supermarket aisle and her rocky relationship with Karl Stefanovic.

The memoir also delves into her final days at Channel Nine and claims that Karl gave her the ‘cold shoulder’ right before she was sacked.
