Lisa Wilkinson gets married again

What better way to celebrate 25 years of marriage than to promise to do it all over again?

That's what Lisa Wilkinson and her husband Peter FitzSimons, did on Saturday when they renewed their vows and tied the knot for a second time.

To make the occasion even more special, the media power couple went back the Bathers Pavilion at Sydney's Balmoral Beach, where they first said 'I do' in 1992.

With a little less poof this time around, Lisa was the picture of elegance in a stunning off-the-shoulder gown by Australian designers Pallas Couture.

Cinched in at the waist, it featured a voluminous A-line skirt and had a beautiful pattern throughout.

Lisa shared two images from the special day to Instagram where she told her followers, “We just got married...again!”

One of the best things about renewing your vows is getting to do it in front of your children, and Lisa was driven to the waterfront venue with her son Louis, who had the pleasure of walking her down the aisle, and daughter Billi, who served as a bridesmaid.

The couple were also surrounded by a host of famous pals including Sylvia Jeffreys and Peter Stefanovic, Richard Wilkinson and Mia Freedman.

Having just tied the knot herself, Sylvia was able to recommend their colleague Steve Marshall as the celebrant.
