'Tension behind the scenes' between Lisa Wilkinson and Carrie Bickmore
Carrie Bickmore and Lisa Wilkinson both have previously denied any claims of a feud between them.
However, fresh whispers have emerged in Woman’s Day that “there’s tension behind the scenes” between the pair on The Project.
Carrie is apparently “sitting back wondering why Lisa is paid so much”, a Ten insider is said to have told the publication.
It’s been speculated Lisa snagged a $2.3 million deal with Network Ten, whereas Carrie is reportedly on a $500,000 salary.

Lisa, 56, is also reportedly sick of flying between Melbourne and Sydney and wanting to change her days on-air, which could mean Carrie may start appearing on the Friday time slot again.
“There have been some very awkward moments,” a source also told the magazine.
Be have contacted Network Ten, Carrie’s reps and Lisa’s reps for comment on the report.
Back in March, Channel Ten shut down suggestions things had become so bad between the the ladies that Carrie was about to “quit”.
In a statement issued to Be, a spokesperson for the pair insisted any reports of a feud “could not be further from the truth”.
“The truth is that these two highly talented, strong and professional women enjoy working together, and support each other,” Network Ten said.
Carrie and Lisa have both publicly gushed about one another since Lisa joined the team in January, following her departure from Today after ten years.
“I couldn’t believe [there were rumours] because this is complete fiction,” the TV veteran told news.com.au. “Carrie can’t believe it, I can’t believe it.”
While Carrie had nothing but praise for Lisa, insisting they would make a ‘great team.’
“I couldn’t be more excited to be working with her,” she previously told Who. “We text, we call and we’re going to make a great team.”
