Lisa Curry shares fresh heartbreak after her mother dies: 'Broken again'
Lisa Curry has shared her heartbreak announcing the death of her mother Pat at the age of 86 this week.
"Our beautiful mum slipped away peacefully this morning. My heart is broken again," Lisa wrote on Instagram, alongside an image of her mum holding a red rose and cuddling a teddy bear.
"I took this photo just yesterday … so beautiful and peaceful, I love this photo," she continued.
"My brother Scott travelled for 48 hrs from Berlin, my sister Melanie and I continually counting down the days, hours and minutes to mum until he arrived. She waited.
"We shared some last laughs, memories and lots of tears," she said, before adding a tribute.
"Thank you for being a wonderful mother. Have a nice, long sleep mum. We love you so much and we'll all miss you."

Lisa also touched on the devastating loss of her daughter Jaimi, who died in September 2020 at the age of 33, writing: "My baby girl, and now my mum."
Jaimi, the eldest child of Lisa and ex-husband Grant Kenny, passed away from a long-term illness.
Lisa, who is open about her life online, and has regularly spoke about the loss of her daughter, shared a tribute on the one year anniversary last September.
The Olympian posted a four and a half minute photo montage on Instagram with memories of her daughter set to Alexandra Burke’s cover of Hallelujah.
In the lengthy caption, she opened up about her grief and admitted that it often feels like she’s “drowning in the pain”.
“I would never have thought my life would be like it is now,” she began
“Remembering you always our beautiful girl. Still feels like yesterday."
SAS Australia star Jett Kenny also opened up about the heartbreaking death of his sister Jaimi during an emotional confession during the last season of the show.
Jett stood in front of the group and admitted that he "never fully understood" what Jaimi was going through with the mental health battle that claimed her life.
"There was one thing I said at her funeral. I’m not gonna say it because it was very personal but I remember saying it to her the night that she asked me … this question, and I gave her the honest truth. And I was hoping that was the harsh reality that she needed – hearing it from her younger brother.
"But she’s gone now. I kind of regret not being there for her more."
Jett's mum Lisa Curry praised the 27-year-old for his "courage", saying, "You know Jaimi would be so proud of you."
