Lindsay Lohan and Lacey Chabert Enjoy a “Mean Girls” Reunion: 'So Fetch Catching Up with My Girl'
The pair starred as Cady Heron and Gretchen Wieners in the beloved 2004 flick
Lindsay Lohan and Lacey Chabert are still trying to make fetch happen.
On Thursday, Nov. 14, Lohan, 38, had a mini Mean Girls reunion with Chabert, 42, as she shared a cute photo of the pair on her Instagram Stories.
Lohan and Chabert starred in the beloved 2004 flick as one half of The Plastics, with Lohan playing Cady Heron alongside Chabert's Gretchen Wieners.
In the film, Chabert's character famously tries to "make fetch happen," much to Rachel McAdams' character Regina George's dismay. Amanda Seyfried was also in the movie, starring as The Plastics' Karen Smith.
Referencing the iconic movie quote in her latest post, Lohan added the comment, "So Fetch catching up with my girl @thereallacey," alongside a wink, happy face and pink heart emoji, as well as a Christmas Mean Girls GIF.
The new flick of Lohan and Chabert seemingly came as a result of the two crossing paths during press days for their new Netflix Christmas comedies: Our Little Secret (Lohan) and Hot Frosty (Chabert). Our Little Secret also notably includes another Mean Girls alum as a member of its cast: Tim Meadows.
For their mini reunion flick, The Parent Trap actress donned a cream Isabel Marant off-the-shoulder dress featuring a fringed bottom in the snap, while Chabert wore a black latex dress and strappy heels.
Chabert reposted the photo, writing, "Love you!" underneath it.
Lohan could be seen wearing the same ensemble in another Instagram post shared on her profile on Thursday, which she captioned, "🤍 #OurLittleSecret press day @netflix 🤍"

The stars' reunion comes after Chabert was asked whether fans still quote the iconic Mean Girls line — "Stop trying to match fetch happen" — during a Today appearance on Sept. 9.
The Hot Frosty star told Hoda Kotb that her 8-year-old daughter Julia didn't know why people kept saying that to her when she was younger.
"When she was younger, she was like, 'What's fetch, why does everyone say that to you?' " Chabert recalled.

Now that she's a little older, Chabert's daughter is starting to understand that quite a few people have seen her mom's films.
"And a couple of years ago she goes, 'Mom, do other people watch the movies that you make?' I was like, 'Yes baby, they're not just for you,' " Chabert said.
Hot Frosty is now streaming on Netflix, and Our Little Secret is set to release on Nov. 27.
