Linda Hogan calls ex-husband Hulk a 'liar' and 'sex addict,' says she hasn't spoken to daughter Brooke in 8 years

Linda Hogan shared an emotional video on social media about her fractured family dynamics, calling her ex-husband Hulk Hogan a "liar" and "sex addict."

She also shared that she has been estranged from her daughter, Brooke, 36, for about eight years. "It’s been 15 however long years since I left Hulk Hogan, and my family is the worst mess,” Linda said in an Instagram Story video.

“I've given him more opportunities to come back and make up the family,” she said of Hulk, whom she was married to between 1983 and 2009. “It’s been 20 years and I’m still this sad. Somebody please explain that. I do love living alone. I don’t ever want to be married again after him, trust me.”

Linda also said Hulk does not have a relationship with Brooke or their son, Nick, 34. "We mean nothing to him," she said, also stating that she had "to be honest about what I went through in my marriage" with her ex. “He’s a complete liar. He’s a sex addict. Yet he marches on, like, ‘Oh, I'm promoting my own beer. Yeah, look at me,'" Linda said of his beer brand, Real American Beer.

Of her estrangement with her daughter, Linda said Brooke "doesn't talk to us" and did not inform them that she had gotten married to her partner, former professional hockey player Steven Oleksy, in 2022, and has welcomed twins. Linda claimed Brooke stopped speaking to them after she got into a fight with her father eight years ago. “I don’t know how that reflected onto me but she cut me out too," Linda said.

Brooke, for her part, has since responded to the claims in her own Instagram statement. "I have completely separate reasons for going no contact with each of my parents," Brooke clarified. "No contact with my mom has nothing to do with my dad, and no contact with my father has nothing to do with my mother . . . what I'm about to say is not pointed at either person. It is my own personal truth." Brooke shared that she was "extremely verbally and mentally abused" during her childhood, and it would "frequently turn physical."

"Cycles must be broken," Brooke said. "At this point, my husband, my children, and my relationship with God is my priority. There have been more than enough chances and reprieve given. It has to stop, it ends now."

Reps for Hulk Hogan didn't immediately respond to Entertainment Weekly's request for comment.

Linda is best known for headlining the 2005 Hogan family reality show Hogan Knows Best alongside her ex-husband and two children, Brooke and Nick. It ran for four seasons on VHS and led to the short-lived spin-off Brooke Knows Best, centered on the former pro wrestler's daughter as she relocated to Miami and came into her own as an adult.

Hulk Hogan remarried his third wife, Sky Daily, in 2023.
